Technical Sales Executive

Job Summary:
Currently, they we are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Executive to drive new business and grow market share in existing accounts and open new accounts. Your experience in relationship management and demonstrated history of success in developing territories and accounts will make this the ideal opportunity.

Responsibilities:

The provision of pre-sales support to customers with some post-sales support
Working as part of a sales team to coordinate timely, accurate and quality delivery of company’s communications’ product presentations
The provision of technical support to customer accounts as required to meet sales goals
Working closely with Account Managers and Sales Managers to identify, qualify and develop customers and to close key strategic opportunities
Provision of technical support to customers to trouble shoot and resolve any problems
Demonstration of the Award winning Product Line to customers and the training of customers in the use of our equipment
Provision of timely, technical customer feedback to both Product Managers, Business Development Managers and the Technical Sales Managers

Desired Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 2+ years as a technical sales executive
Successful track record of exceeding Quota
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a strong teamwork ethic
Must have solid presentation skills and be comfortable conducting presentations to both individuals and groups of people
Proven ability to build sound client relationships
Ability to manage a heavy workload and work under pressure
Solid problem solving skills, decision making and use of initiative
Must be cooperative and flexible in approach
Must have a track record of achieving results
Proficient at planning and executing account strategies and maintaining effective long-term business relationships with key decision makers
French speaking is an added advantage

Key Accountabilities and Performance Measures:

  •     Achieve assigned sales quota
  •     Drives strategic customer objectives defined by company
  •     Drives strategic customer account planning process that meets company standards
Educational Qualifications:
  •     Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science and/or Information Technology
  •     An M.Sc degree (Sales Management preferably) is an advantage
  •     Technical experience in solution selling
  •     Strong negotiation and persuasive skills
  •     Problem Solving capabilities and innovative thinking
  •     High Self-Motivation
  •     Good communication skills and willing to work with an international team
  •     Ability to work in a dynamic environment
